“La Vista is a little piece of rainforest heaven, with simply stunning views, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Daintree National Park, a true treasure.”

The accommodation at La Vista consists of two post and beam houses affectionately known as The Shack and The Studio. They can each sleep 2 adults and 2 children. Each house has a queen size bed and a double sofa bed.

They are both exclusively yours. Ideally the parents stay in The Studio retreat up top and the children have The Shack. Both have a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The Studio also has a bathtub with views to Cape Tribulation, The Coral Sea, and Thorntons Peak (Queensland’s 3rd highest mountain).

Myself and my staff are fully vaccinated. All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized for your peace of mind.

We provide hotel quality linen and towels, Free WiFi with Netflix, Foxtel, Optus Sport and Spotify.

The fully equipped kitchen in The Shack has a BBQ with Pizza Oven and Gas Cook Top and a full size fridge/freezer.
The galley kitchen in The Studio has an under counter fridge with an ice box. There are no cooking facilities. There is a toaster and kettle. The galley is really just for breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.

The Upper deck off The Studio has a hammock, sofa and a small table and chairs. Relax, read, enjoy the view. The living area has a comfortable couch, large flat screen TV with Foxtel, and JBL Stereo speakers with auxiliary port for your device.

There is nearly always a breeze on the hill at La Vista. For those sultry days there are turbo ceiling fans in every room.

The Plunge Pool and Spa are below The Studio’s upper deck. The Pool deck is the best place to cool off, relax, have a quiet drink and enjoy the fantastic view.
